Memory
Nexa Assistant can remember specific facts across separate chats, so you don't have to re-explain context every time you start a new conversation.
How it works
While generating a response, the assistant can choose to store a fact about you or your conversation. That fact is saved and made available in future chats. The mechanism is intentionally simple: the model marks text it wants remembered, that marker is stripped out before you see the reply, and the underlying fact is kept in storage tied to your account.
Not everything is remembered
The assistant doesn't try to remember everything you say — only facts it identifies as durable and useful for future conversations (a preference, a recurring detail about a project, and so on).
Where memory is stored
Memory is stored client-side, tied to your signed-in account, and is only used within Nexa Assistant — it isn't shared with NexaBot or Nexa Convert.
Clearing memory
If a remembered fact is wrong or you'd rather it forget something, you can clear stored memory from your account settings within the app.
