What is NexaBot

NexaBot is a public, all-in-one Discord bot focused on moderation and server management, currently on its 12th major version (v12). It's designed so a single bot can replace the handful of separate moderation, verification, and utility bots a server would otherwise need.

Core capabilities

Moderation Security Utility Games
AreaWhat it covers
AutoModConfigurable warn ladders that escalate automatically as a member breaks rules repeatedly
Anti-raidDetects and slows down mass-join events
Anti-nukeDetects and reacts to abusive admin-level actions (mass channel/role deletion, etc.)
VerificationA configurable gate new members pass through before accessing the server, with four different panel styles
Reaction rolesMembers self-assign roles by reacting to a message
Case historyA log of moderation actions taken against each member
Welcome / goodbyeConfigurable messages when members join or leave
Staff abuse trackingFlags unusual patterns of staff command usage
GamesBuilt-in games members can play in text channels

How it's configured

NexaBot can be configured two ways, and most servers use both:

  • Slash commands, run directly in Discord (for example, /setupverify)
  • The Nexa Dashboard, a web app where you log in with Discord and configure everything visually

See The Setup Wizard for first-time configuration, or Nexa Dashboard for the full web interface.

Command limit

Discord caps any single bot at 100 global slash commands. NexaBot's command set is designed around that ceiling — some functionality is grouped under subcommands rather than being a separate top-level command.
