Watermark Removal

The Watermark tab removes a watermark or unwanted object from a photo by having you mark the area, then filling it in.

Two modes

Uses LaMa, a real, open-source inpainting neural network that runs locally in your browser. It reconstructs the marked area using learned texture and structure, and tends to look noticeably better on complex photos than a simple fill.

The first use downloads the model (roughly 200MB) and takes a moment to load — after that, it's cached and loads quickly.

How to use it

  1. Open the Watermark tab
  2. Brush over the area you want removed — the tool doesn't auto-detect a watermark's shape for you, since a wrong guess could erase part of your actual photo
  3. Choose AI model or Fast mode
  4. Download the result

Why you brush the area yourself

Reliably auto-detecting an arbitrary watermark's exact shape isn't something this tool guesses at — you know exactly which pixels you want gone, and marking it yourself avoids accidentally erasing part of the real photo.
