Practical recommendations for getting the most out of Nexa products.

NexaBot

• Set up a mod-log channel before enabling AutoMod, so you have visibility into every automatic action from day one.
• Keep NexaBot's role near the top of your role hierarchy — see Adding NexaBot to a Server — otherwise moderation actions on higher-role members will silently fail.
• Start anti-raid and anti-nuke sensitivity conservative, then tighten it based on real activity in your server rather than guessing upfront.
• Review case history periodically — it's the fastest way to spot a warn ladder that's too lenient or too strict.

Nexa Assistant

• Match the model to the task: Nexa Build for code, Nexa Muse for writing, Nexa Deep for anything that benefits from careful reasoning. See Models.
• Default to Balanced effort. Reach for High only when a response is falling short, since it costs more against your daily limit — see Accounts & Limits.
• If you're close to your daily limit, drop to Low effort rather than stopping entirely.

Nexa Convert

• For Background removal and Watermark (AI mode), let the model finish downloading on a good connection before you actually need the result — see Background Removal.
• Use Watermark's Fast mode for simple backgrounds (skies, solid colors) and the AI model for complex photos — see Watermark Removal.
