Models
Nexa Assistant offers ten models split across two tiers. Each has a distinct focus — there isn't one "best" model, only the best fit for what you're doing.
Free models
| Model | Best for |
|---|---|
| Nexa Dash | Fastest replies, less depth |
| Nexa Mini | Small and to the point |
| Nexa Build | Best pick for code |
| Nexa Deep | Slower, thinks things through |
| Nexa Muse | Better voice for writing |
Pro models
Coming Soon| Model | Best for |
|---|---|
| Nexa Prime | A real step up in quality |
| Nexa Apex | As good as it gets |
| Nexa Lab | Newest, still rough around edges |
| Nexa Sight | Can read images you send |
Pro models are visible in the model picker but require a Pro account, which isn't purchasable yet — see Accounts & Limits.
Effort levels
Independent of which model you pick, you can set an effort level:
| Effort | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Low | Fastest, lightest responses |
| Balanced | The default — a middle ground |
| High | Slower, more thorough responses |
Effort affects your daily limit
Higher effort levels can cost more than one message against your daily limit. See Accounts & Limits for how that's calculated.
