Community Guidelines & Age Requirement
Age requirement: 13+
Nexa Studio originally planned for the community to be 16+. During that planning, it became clear that a lot of younger people were genuinely interested in joining Nexa Studio to learn, create, and develop new skills — game dev, music, art, and code, the same mix the server is built around.
Because of that, the requirement was set at 13+ instead, so that more people genuinely interested in learning and creating could be part of the community.
If a user under 13 is found in the server
Staff can't always know or verify someone's age. If a member turns out to be under 13 and staff had no way of knowing that at the time, that's not something Nexa Studio can reasonably be blamed for — action can't be taken against something nobody was aware of.
Once staff do become aware that someone is under 13, appropriate action is taken at that point.

This is about what's reasonable to expect, not a way to avoid responsibility. If you notice or suspect a member is under 13, letting staff know is genuinely helpful — see Support & Contact.
What this means practically
- The server isn't designed or moderated as an all-ages space below 13, and isn't held to that standard
- Age isn't something staff actively investigate about every member — it's addressed when it becomes known, not assumed by default
- If you're a parent or guardian with a concern about a specific member, reaching out through Support & Contact is the right path
Why this connects to NexaBot's verification system
If you're setting up your own server with NexaBot, the same practical limit applies there too — verification (see Verification System) is a real barrier against bots and low-effort raiders, but it isn't and can't be an age verification system. No Discord bot can reliably confirm a member's real age; the honest answer is that this limitation exists everywhere, not just in the Nexa Studio server specifically.
General expectations
Beyond age, the same baseline applies here as in any well-run community — see Server Culture & Identity and Handling Conflict & Drama for the fuller version of this. The short version: be someone worth having in a creative space, and disagreements get handled like adults regardless of anyone's actual age.
